There’s something about stillness that makes you listen differently.
When the world paused in 2020, so did everything I had built in theater. The productions, the performances, the packed houses—all quiet. At first, it felt like loss. But in that quiet, something unexpected happened: God whispered something new.
I picked up my pen—not to write a script, but to write a story. A fuller story. One that went beyond the spotlight and into the hearts of my characters. I began exploring what audiences never got to see: the unspoken prayers, the hidden pain, the silent moments between the scenes.
That’s when I discovered a new love for writing. One that allowed me to go deeper and be more intentional with every word.
But let me be honest—it wasn’t an easy transition. My company, Church Stars, was hacked in every area. Despite everything I did to recover it—every backup, every email, every plan—the harder I tried, the more adversity I faced. To this day, if you type my name into Facebook, nothing comes up. Then one day, in prayer, I heard clearly: "It was for a season… now it’s time for your next."
Not because I failed—because that assignment had ended.
And so I leaped. Slowly. Penning this novel since 2020. Nervously. But faithfully.
Today, I write stories that still carry the drama, the twists, the laughs—but with a deeper purpose. To inspire healing. To stir hope. And to take readers on journeys that speak to the soul.
If you’re reading this, maybe you’re standing on the edge of your own leap. Maybe you’ve got a story buried in you too.
Jump. You never know what love you’ll find in the fall.
